Cellulite

Cellulite

Cellulite is a structural change in the fat layer.

Unfortunately, little is known about what causes cellulite:

  1. Gender (it is more common in women than in men)
  2. Hormonal factors (for example, women can develop it after puberty)
  3. Genetics (if women in your family have it, you are more likely to develop it too)
  4. Age (when the skin loses its elasticity)
  5. Weight (weight gain can make cellulite more noticeable, but some thin people also have cellulite)
  6. Inactive lifestyle
  7. Unhealthy food/drinks (sweets, unhealthy fats, carbonated soft drinks)
  8. Dehydration
  9. Diets
  10. Low metabolism
  11. Tobacco

In most cases Cellulite can’t disappear completely , but we can try to make it less visible:

  1. Losing weight significantly reduces cellulite
  2. Exercise, the defined muscles under the thin layer of fat will make your skin smoother and therefore less visible
  3. A healthy diet (helps to stop the process from progressing)
  4. A lot of water (helps to stop the process from progressing)
  5. A procedure called Cryolipolysis has been approved by the US FDA. It uses cold therapy to freeze lipids in fat cells, which causes the death of these cells. Of course, not everyone can see good results with this procedure, but for some it is quite effective
  6. Liposuction, of course, not everyone can see good results with this procedure, but for some it is quite effective
  7. Massages and similar procedures give short-term results, they need to be done systematically
  8. No creams, ointments, lotions, etc. will help
  9. Cellulite appears more often on fair-skinned people, so a healthy tan in summer is a good solution

P.S. Love your body
